Stephen Fowl, dean of Loyola School at Loyola College Maryland, will develop into president and dean of the Church Divinity College of the Pacific, in California.

Rodney Hanley, president of Lake Superior State College, in Michigan, has been named president of Northeastern State College, in Oklahoma.

Fred Hawkins, a Republican serving within the Florida Home of Representatives, has been named the only finalist to function president of South Florida State School.

Leslie E. Wong, a former president of San Francisco State College and Northern Michigan College and a member of Connecticut School’s Board of Trustees, has been named interim president of Connecticut School. He replaces Katherine Bergeron, who will step down on the finish of the month.

Owen Gingerich, a professor emeritus of astronomy at Harvard College and writer of The E book No person Learn: Chasing the Revolutions of Nicolaus Copernicus (2004), died on Might 28. He was 93.

Ian Hacking, a professor emeritus of philosophy on the College of Toronto, died on Might 10. He was 87.

Gerald I. Lamkin, a president emeritus of Ivy Tech Neighborhood School, died at age 86.

Donald Value, founding director of the Alzheimer’s Illness Analysis Heart and professor emeritus of pathology, neurology, and neuroscience on the Johns Hopkins College, died on Might 5.

William E. Spriggs, chief economist on the AFL-CIO, a former assistant secretary of labor within the Obama administration, and a professor at Howard College, died on June 6. He was 68.
